JAKIYAH CABELL

This week we have, Jakiyah Cabell aka Elle S. Dee!

Jakiyah is a Creative Director turned vinyl DJ. She regards the art of listening to music as a form of time travel and dance as a sacred cathartic healing practice and curates her sets with intention to leave you feeling excited, inspired, and uplifted. Her sets range from afro beats, funk, disco, soul, jazz, and pop from the 1960s to our current timeline.

In addition to DJ-ing, Jakiyah is Creative Director of “the care package” an immersive newsletter and digital magazine for creatives that creates space for subscribers to push the boundaries of their creativity by providing creative lifestyle prompts, journaling prompts for self reflection and mental clarity, intentionally curated sound healing playlists and mixes, limited edition merch, and book and film recommendations that align with the theme for each month.
