BGLV was born out of a deep-seated desire to provide a safe and inclusive space for Black girls who share an unbridled enthusiasm for music. We recognized the need for a platform where their voices could soar, their stories could be told, and their eclectic, multifarious music tastes could be celebrated without reservation at a seat at the table.
